Cooking Instructions

***Cook Dumplings from Frozen***

(do not defrost to cook)

To Pan-Fry Dumplings:

(recommended method)

  1. Heat a 2 tablespoon of vegetable oil or olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the frozen dumplings flat side down in a single layer. Fry for about 2 minutes until the bottoms of the dumplings are slightly golden brown.

  2. Grab the lid for your pan and hold it a couple of inches above the pan as a shield (this will protect you from oil splatter when water is added to steam the dumplings). Carefully add 2/3 cup of water to the pan, and immediately cover with the lid. Lower heat to medium low.

  3. Allow dumplings to steam in the pan until all the water has cooked off (about 10 minutes but this time may vary, just wait until all the water is gone and you only see oil left in the pan, you should hear more sizzling).

  4. Uncover the pan and continue cooking until the bottom of the dumplings are to your desired crispiness. Option to use tongs and flip the dumplings to crisp other sides.

  5. Remove from heat, plate and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

To Boil Dumplings:

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil (leave about 3 inches of room from the top of the pot).

  2. Gently drop in the frozen dumplings, and stir immediately so to prevent sticking to the bottom of the pot. As they cook, the dumplings will float to the top of the water. Stir occasionally.

  3. Let the water come back to a boil then add a cup of cold water to the pot. Bring the water back to a boil, and cook the dumplings for 8-9 minutes until cooked through.

  4. Drain, plate and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Easy Dipping Sauce Recipe:
